StorageMax — Terms of Use

Last updated: May 19, 2026

Welcome to StorageMax. By installing or using the StorageMax app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use StorageMax.

What StorageMax is

StorageMax is an iOS app for cleaning up your iPhone Photo Library. It helps you identify and remove duplicates, screenshots, blurry shots, similar photos, large videos, and Live Photos.

Your account

StorageMax has no accounts. You don’t sign up or sign in. Everything happens on your device.

Subscription

StorageMax offers an auto-renewing weekly subscription that unlocks unlimited swipe sessions and the full feature set:

  • Weekly: $9.99 / week, with a 7-day free trial for new users
  • Annual (Win-Back offer): $19.99 / year, offered if you cancel during or after your weekly trial

The subscription auto-renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel anytime in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Apple handles all billing. See our Subscription Terms for the full details on auto-renewal and cancellation.

What StorageMax can do to your photos

When you tap Delete in the swipe deck and confirm by tapping the trash button, StorageMax asks iOS to move those photos to your iPhone’s Recently Deleted album via Apple’s PhotoKit API. You have 30 days to recover anything in Recently Deleted before iOS permanently deletes it. StorageMax itself never permanently deletes anything.

When you tap the heart icon, StorageMax sets the standard Apple Photos “Favorite” flag on that photo. You’ll see it in Photos → Favorites.

When you tap the bookmark icon, StorageMax keeps a local list of asset identifiers you wanted to come back to. This list is stored on your device only.

What you agree not to do

Don’t reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or attempt to derive StorageMax’s source code. Don’t use StorageMax to violate Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines or any applicable law.

StorageMax’s warranties

StorageMax is provided “as is” without any warranty. We try hard to make it stable and useful, but software has bugs and edge cases. Always make sure you have an iCloud backup of photos you care about.

We are not liable for any data loss. The two-stage delete (in-app swipe → iOS Recently Deleted) is designed so nothing leaves your library by accident — but you are responsible for your own backups.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of StorageMax after a change means you accept the new terms.
