StorageMax — Subscription Terms

StorageMax Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks all features in the StorageMax app. This page explains exactly how billing, renewal, trials, and cancellations work — required by Apple App Review and also just the right thing to be clear about.

Prices are in USD. Apple may convert to your local currency at the local-tier equivalent.

How the free trial works

When you start a StorageMax Pro weekly subscription as a new user:

  1. Today: You get instant access to all Pro features. No charge.
  2. In 5 days: Apple sends you a reminder that the trial is ending.
  3. In 7 days: Your subscription begins charging at $9.99/week.

You can cancel anytime during the trial and won’t be charged. Trials are managed by Apple — eligibility is based on your Apple ID.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (weekly or yearly, whichever you chose) unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. The next period’s charge happens within 24 hours of the renewal time.

How to cancel

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions (or Apple Account → Subscriptions).
  3. Tap StorageMax Pro and tap Cancel Subscription.

You’ll keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period, then it stops. You won’t be charged again.

You can also cancel from inside StorageMax: Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription opens the same iOS sheet.

Refunds

Refunds for accidental purchases are handled by Apple, not StorageMax. Open the App Store, tap your profile, tap Purchased, find StorageMax, and tap Report a Problem. Apple will review your request.

Win-Back annual offer

If you cancel the weekly subscription, Apple may show you an offer for the Yearly plan at $19.99/year (≈ $0.38/week). This is a one-time offer per Apple’s Win-Back rules. You can accept or ignore it. If you accept, the yearly plan starts immediately and auto-renews yearly at the same price until cancelled.

Family Sharing

StorageMax Pro is not shared via Family Sharing. Each Apple ID needs its own subscription. Sorry — we may add Family Sharing in a future release.

Changes to subscription terms

If we change pricing or terms, Apple will require us to notify existing subscribers and ask for renewed consent before the new terms apply. Your existing subscription continues unchanged until that renewed consent.
